The Landmark Hotel, DundeeThis hotel comprises the original Victorian mansion house with a modern extension containing the bedrooms and public areas. Located just off the A90, the hotel is perfectly positioned for access by coach to central Dundee and for touring Perthshire, Fife and Angus. All 95 bedrooms are comfortable and contemporary in design and equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There is no lift but there are 46 ground floor bedrooms. Relax for pre-dinner drinks in the cosy bar area before heading into the conservatory restaurant, which has beautiful views over the gardens and miniature ‘maze’. Leisure facilities include an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym.
Mon - This morning we depart the local area and head north as we make our way to Dundee. Settle into your room an enjoy your evening meal.
Tue - Today we visit the city of Perth for time at leisure to explore and visit the new Perth Museum. In the afternoon we have a guided tour of Scone Palace state rooms, all decorated for Christmas!
Wed - We make our way to Dundee to visit the V&A Museum, before enjoying free time to explore more of the city.
Thu - This morning we visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse adorned with glittering decorations to celebrate the festive season, including a 15 foot Christmas tree in the Great Gallery. In the afternoon we make our way to Edinburgh’s Princes Street to explore the Christmas market.
Fri - After breakfast we depart the hotel and make our way home.
