Itinerary
Mon - Travel via Bala, Dyfi Valley, Aberystwyth and Aberaeron to Cardigan arriving late afternoon
Tue - After a leisurely breakfast the coach will transfer you into Cardigan town for the morning. This afternoon we travel to Newcastle Emlyn and visit the National Wool Museum which is situated in the picturesque village of Dre-fach Felindre in the Teifi Valley. Located in the former Cambrian Mills, the Museum tells the story of the industry and admission is entirely free!
Wed - Today we head southwards and visit Tenby which is an appealing resort, unspoilt by commercialism and it retains its natural seaside charm, especially along its narrow streets which lead down to the pretty harbour. The towns attractions include four fabulous beaches, Norman Castle ruins, shops, cafés galore, even a museum and art gallery.
Thu - Following breakfast we travel along the coastal road via Fishguard to St. David’s, the famous tiny Cathedral city for sightseeing.
Fri - Following breakfast we bid farewell to Cardigan and travel northwards and make a coffee stop in Aberaeron before continuing via Aberystwyth and heading eastwards to Welshpool where we stop for lunch. We continue homewards via Oswestry and Wrexham.
