Norton Park Hotel, Winchester Norton Park is one of the finest hotels in Hampshire, set within its own 54 acres of parkland. Fri - This morning we make our way to Stratford upon Avon for some free time before heading to the hotel. Settle into your room before enjoying your evening meal.
Sat - We start our day in the historic city of Winchester with some free time to explore. Later it’s time to let our hair down with an interactive session on cocktail culture at the fabulous Bombay Sapphire Distillery, located on the site of an historic paper mill in the glorious Hampshire countryside. Home to the world-famous Bombay Sapphire gin, we discover the history and production process of this distinctive tipple. Our Gin Cocktail Masterclass begins with a guided Discovery Experience, where we explore the distillery and discover the ten exotic botanicals infused into every drop of Bombay Sapphire Gin. Senses awakened, we then enjoy a complimentary cocktail in the Mill Bar before slipping into our mixologist roles. Hosted by Bombay Sapphire’s Gin Experts, we learn the tricks of the bar trade on a 1 hour interactive cocktail mixology session, learning how to craft two cocktails and sampling a Leggero Martini for good measure. We leave with our new-found skills, ready to whip up delicious cocktails on demand. Please note, as the Bombay Sapphire Distillery is a working distillery, guests must wear suitable footwear (no high heels or open-toed shoes).
Sun - After breakfast we bid farewell to the hotel and make our way to Royal Leamington Spa, a beautiful and prosperous town located in the heart of Warwickshire. Later returning to the coach for the homeward journey.
