Croit Anna Hotel,  Fort William
Situated two miles south west of Fort William on the shores of Loch Linnhe with spectacular mountain and loch views from the lounge and bar with a large lounge with loch views. This hotel is a perfect base. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and Freeview TV with radio channels. Please note there is no lift at this hotel.

 

Itinerary

Mon -  Travel North arrive at the hotel. Settle into your room before enjoying your evening meal.

Tue - After breakfast we make our way to Oban, Argyll Nicknamed the 'Seafood Capital', Oban is home to the freshest seafood and award-winning restaurants. Nestled on the west coast and surrounded by miles of dramatic shores and beautiful countryside, the seaside town is a great place to visit.

Wed - Today we enjoy a spectacular train journey from Fort William to Mallaig. Described as the greatest railway journey in the world, this 84 mile round trip takes you past a list of impressive extremes. Starting near the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis, it visits Britain's most westerly mainland railway station, Arisaig; passes close by the deepest freshwater loch in Britain, Loch Morar and the shortest river in Britain, River Morar, finally arriving next to the deepest seawater loch in Europe, Loch Nevis! In Mallaig you will have some free time to explore this bustling harbour town boasting impressive views across to The Isle of Skye.

Thu - After breakfast we head for our cruise departing from Fort Augustus at the southern end of Loch Ness, you’ll soon be treated to the breath-taking vista of Loch Ness in all its natural wonder.  The perfect way to experience the sights, wildlife and history of the famous loch.

Fri - After breakfast we bid fairwell to the hotel and start to make our homeward journey.
