Dunston Hall Hotel - NorwichThe hotel is an imposing country house hotel set in 170 acres of beautiful wooded Norfolk parkland. This lovely hotel with its sweeping drive, combined Elizabethan and Victorian styles offers the perfect location for a relaxing break. Mon - Travel to Norwich arriving at the hotel late afternoon. Settle into your room and enjoy your evening meal.
Tue - After breakfast join the coach for a leisurely drive in the Norfolk Broads. The morning begins as we travel to Aylsham to board the Bure Valley Railway which journeys through nine miles of the lovely Norfolk countryside to Wroxham. We then take the Southern Comfort Paddle Steamer from Horning.
Wed - Today we make our way to Walsingham Anglican Shrine grounds. We then take a ride on the Wells & Walsingham Light Railway, a single journey from Walsingham to Wells.
Thu - After breakfast we depart Norwich and make our way to Sandringham, private home of the Queen with its beautiful gardens, museum and peaceful walks, whilst close by is the famous Parish Church which is well worth a visit. Refreshments, souvenir and nursery shop are all located close to the coach park and main entrance. Kindly note that Sandringham House is occasionally closed for security reasons without prior notice.
Fri - After breakfast we bid farewell to the hotel as we make our way to Norwich Cathedral for our entrance, or enjoy some free time in the city before our departure at 14.00hrs for the homeward journey.
