Mon - Morning departure as we make our way to the hotel.
Tue - We spend today in Lincoln, starting with a morning visit to the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral. One of Europe’s finest gothic buildings dating back to the 11th century, our visit includes a 1 hour floor tour where an expert guide takes us on a journey revealing hundreds of years of history. We have free time for lunch and a wander around the city before we finish our day with a relaxing 1 hour canal cruise taking in the sights of Lincoln and the surrounding countryside.
Wed - Today we make the most of our unique location with a visit to Yorkshire Wildlife
Park. As the UK’s number one walkthrough wildlife experience, we’re in for a ‘roarsome’ day out with around 475 animals to meet! Among the 60 different species, highlights include Project Polar, home to the only polar bears in England; magnificent African Lions in the seven-acre Lion Country; a family of Californian sea lions in the largest purpose-built habitat of its kind in the world; and the 300-metre raised walkway above Land of the Tigers. Other critters to look out for include rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, leopards, monkeys, lemurs, zebras, and many more!
Thu - Today we hop on a historic miniature railway for a 45 minute return journey along the picturesque Humberside Coast with the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. We also enjoy some time at leisure to relax in the Victorian seaside resort of Cleethorpes.
Fri - After breakfast we depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey, making a stop en-route.
