The Queen’s Hotel, York
The Queens Hotel is perfectly situated on the quieter, western bank of the River Ouse, in the very heart of the city, one of only two central hotels with a riverside location set beside North Bridge, opposite an attractive mix of Georgian buildings and boat moorings. Step out of the hotel and explore all that York has to offer; stroll through the Snickleways of York, visit York Minster, take in a gallery or museum, enjoy the bustling retail centre or just relax in one of the many cafes, wine bars and restaurants. Hotel facilities include restaurant, bar, lift and all bedrooms have en-suite bathroom, hair dryer, TV, telephone, complimentary Wi-Fi and tea/coffee maker. Please note that the hotel entrance is accessed by ten steps but there is a chair lift available.

Last years entertainments programme included a magician, a vocalist, bingo & quiz’s. 2024 itinerary to be confirmed in due course.

Mon - This morning we head to York some free time in the City before check in. Enjoy a welcome drink before your evening meal, followed by the hotels entertainment.

Tue (Christmas Eve) - Fill up on a delicious buffet breakfast before free time in city. Tonight enjoy your evening meal and the hotels entertainment. Maybe head to the Minster for Midnight Mass.

Wed (Christmas Day) - Merry Christmas! Breakfast will be served this morning, followed by Christmas Day lunch. His Majesty’s speech will be shown in the lounge at 3pm. Tonight enjoy a buffet for your evening meal.

Thu (Boxing Day) - Buffet breakfast in the hotel before spending your day at leisure in the city.

Fri - After a leisurely breakfast and some free time we meet our driver to commence the homeward journey.

Please note the driver and coach will not stay in resort for the duration of your holiday.
