Beside the lake, beneath the trees, fluttering and dancing in the breeze... Enjoy the spectacle of thousands of daffodils in bloom at RHS Gardens
A wave of colour spreads across the garden in spring courtesy of nearly 50,000 bulbs planted over the last two years. In the Orchard, more than 8,000 daffodils were planted last autumn and are starting to emerge ready to flower for the first time.
Other spring bulb hotspots include the Long Borders, where pastel coloured tulips and cream daffodils harmonise to great effect. Head to the Bee and Butterfly Garden to relax in a sunny spot surrounded by pots bursting with daffodils, hyacinths and Muscari.
There is so much to see – the Weston Walled Garden contains multiple garden rooms, setting the tone for a journey of exploration with colourful themed borders, complementary sub-gardens each exploring a different horticultural style and characterful listed buildings. The wider woodland, meadows and lakes further your enjoyment.
