Barnsley indoor market

Barnsley indoor market opened in 2018 following an extensive refurbishment programme. It's open Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 4pm.

On the ground floor you'll find fresh produce stalls. These include Barkers Butchers, Keith's Quality Meats, Morley Meats, fishmongers Joseph Cliffe and Tom Hall, and the fantastic Deli Butcher. You’ll also find stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables, bakers and florists. It's also home to some famous faces, including Pats for Pants, Sailor Sid’s and Devine Footwear.

Upstairs there's lots more stalls, including fashion, household textiles, wool, hairdressers and familiar faces such as Dantina Foods.

Fresh fish, locally made cheese and a Barnsley chop - what could be better?

Barnsley outdoor market

This is a traditional market where you’ll find everything you need for you and your home. Products on offer include fashion, stationery, cards, bags, footwear, jewellery, textiles, fresh flowers, home decor and much more.

Pot House Hamlet has lots to offer; have coffee, a snack or a meal at The Potting Shed Café.  Wander around the plant nursery, the stylish womenswear shop and the dog grooming boutique. Pop into the fabulous smelling candle shop, get your eyes tested at Berry’s Opticians. Childs play at The Den. Have a treatment in the old mill and discover beautiful hand made jewellery in The Round Tower.

Visit the petting farm for free, get up close to feed and stroke them, they are very friendly. Walk down the ancient wagon way alongside Silkstone beck, bring a picnic to have on the table under the oak trees by the stream or explore the area.
