You’ll find so much to explore on a visit to Ordsall Hall, with something for everyone to enjoy. This trip includes a Guided Tour of the Hall. 

Take a step back in time and discover the history of the hall, find out about life in Tudor times and learn more about the hall’s former inhabitants. There’s fun to be had in their interactive Frederick Shields Gallery and the chance experience artwork from a variety of local and renowned artists in their permanent exhibition. Children can take the quiz and try their hand at drawing with the Explorer Trail. You can even explore the stories behind the famous ghostly residents and keep an eye out for them…

You can explore a variety of rooms throughout the hall, including the Great Hall, the Kitchen, Star Chamber and the Great Chamber, or you can take a stroll outside and explore the beautiful gardens.



After, enjoy some free time at Salford Quays. The Quays is Greater Manchester's unique waterfront destination,  packs everything you can do in a big city into one spectacular square mile. Shopping, sport, art, drama, history and truly world-class architecture - you name it and you'll find it at The Quays.
