The International Pan Celtic Festival & Dublin

The Pan Celtic Festival is a Celtic-language festival held annually in the week following Easter, in Ireland, since its inauguration in 1971. Its aim is to promote the modern Celtic languages and cultures and artists from six Celtic nations: Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland compete as a single entity), Isle of Man, Scotland and Wales.
They look forward to welcoming old friends back as well as new comers to the festival, including musicians and singers, choirs, dancers and storytellers from the six participating nations as we share the Celtic language and culture at this great Easter gathering.

Hotel

Midlands Park Hotel
The hotel offers 4-star accommodation in Portlaoise and features a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar and restaurant. The hotel also has a fitness centre, as well as an indoor pool and a sauna and hot tub, room service and free WiFi throughout. Every room has a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels.

 

Itinerary

Wed - This morning we depart the local area and make our way to Holyhead where we make our crossing over to Dublin. We head straight for The Pan Celtic Festival to enjoy the festivities. Later we make our way to the hotel.

Thu - After breakfast we depart the hotel and make our way to Dublin. Enjoy some free time in the city before we take the crossing back to Holyhead commencing the homeward journey.
