The Pan Celtic Festival is a Celtic-language festival held annually in the week following Easter, in Ireland, since its inauguration in 1971. Its aim is to promote the modern Celtic languages and cultures and artists from six Celtic nations: Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland compete as a single entity), Isle of Man, Scotland and Wales. They look forward to welcoming old friends back as well as new comers to the festival, including musicians and singers, choirs, dancers and storytellers from the six participating nations as we share the Celtic language and culture at this great Easter gathering.
