Itinerary

Fri - Morning departure as we head to Bicester Shopping Village in Oxford, home to more than 160 designer and fashion brands, each offering exceptional value with savings of up to 60% on the recommended retail price. We will arrive at the hotel with time to relax before dinner

Sat - This morning, we visit Winchester Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Northern Europe. Here there is time to explore the Kings and Scribes exhibition then take a self guided Cathedral tour to hear about the characters and events that shaped the history of England and left its mark on this magnificent building.

In the afternoon, we explore the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery with a guided tour where we learn about the history of gin, Laverstoke Mill, and Bombay Sapphire. We will discover the flavours of the botanicals and their sustainable provenance which make their gin so unique. Across the sprawling Victorian architecture, discover the vapour infusion distillation process in the Dakin Still House, wander through the Botanical Dry Room, and experiment with the aromas of the ten exotic botanicals used to make Bombay Sapphire. No visit to a distillery would be complete without a  complimentary tipple in the Mill Bar.

Sun - Before retuning home we pay a morning visit to Henley-on-Thames where you will have chance to look round this pretty town overlooked by beautiful Chiltern landscape, wooded hills and green fields.
